In this so impressive season, you’ll wake up watching the sunrise right in front of you, the colors of the hills will surround you, you could hear the crunch of your footsteps on the fallen leaves, wander in search of mushrooms in the nearby woods, gathering chestnuts, apples and persimmons, relax by listening to the tinkling of sheep which graze on our meadows. You could participate in the harvest in our vineyard and take the time for a nice bike ride or walk, among the numerous festivals of seasonal products and stunning sceneries.

Even winter has its own charm.. At Casa Aiva you could listen to the silence of nature that slowly falls asleep, you’ll watch the sun rise to the east and then enjoy its warm rays while below - in the plains - everything is shrouded in fog. You’ll make short walk on the white snow and observe the starry sky at night. You also could easily reach the many ski slopes, enjoy the typical dishes in a pleasant retreat after a snowshoe hike and then relax in the heat of the stove in the living room, drinking a hot tea or an excellent digestive of this region.

Since March, you could watch the awakening of nature, you’ll see flourish the five different varieties of our camellias, the magnolia put the first flowers of pink and fuchsia, soon followed by the green leaves. In April you’ll enjoy the intense shades of lilac wisteria clinging to the house. And then the meadows and hills of bright green color and soft colors and the scents of May. At Casa Aiva you’ll warm up to the rays of the sun warmer, stretch your legs and take relaxing walks among the markets and fairs in the spring and its thousands of flowers and colors.

The summer is pleasant because Casa Aiva will allow you to live intensely sunny days and agreeable weather of these parts, feel the sun getting stronger, but never suffer the extreme heat because here in the hills it is always slightly breezy. You could choose between a mountain bike ride, a hike in mountain lakes and breathtaking mountain peaks, a village festival in the name of culinary delights, dances and traditional games... have you never heard of square bowls?
And then, a dip in the pool, to relax and enjoy the sun setting behind the hill. Eating on the patio or on the veranda, watching the plains gradually light of so many lights and who knows... watch the fireworks organized by the various villages below. And lie in the field watching the fireflies flying around and shooting stars in the sky.
